Although I suspect (and hope) that a lot of time is being spent polishing up Office, Microsoft's Mac BU has also been cranking away on a new beta of the handy Remote Desktop Connection (RDC) software. Matlab r2019b v9.7.0.1261785 crack. The first beta of RDC for Mac 2.0 came out in July, and today the Mac BU released a Beta 2 version of the client, based on feedback from the first release.

In addition to all of the stuff from the first beta that has been fixed, Beta 2 also includes a few new features and tweaks. The multiple session functionality has been improved and added to the File menu, so new sessions can be launched from within the client (as a sidenote, I can't believe that anyone thought the original behavior was a good idea). Each connection also now has its own file and individual settings, meaning no more global settings. Editor's note: And thank deities for that.

Beta 2 also adds an automatic reconnect feature, better support for widescreen displays, and last but not least, includes Network Level Authorization (NLA) support. I'm not too familiar with NLA, but from what I can tell, it's a new Vista authentication method that authenticates users before the full Remote Desktop connection is established, a method which uses less resources and helps prevent denial-of-service attacks.

If you're ready to take the plunge, the new beta is available for download at Microsoft's Mactopia. There are some caveats to the beta release, including lack of support for anything other than a US English keyboard and some VPN issues. The release notes specify OS X version 10.4.9 or higher, although Leopard isn't specifically mentioned. The new beta weighs in a mere 4.45MB, and will expire on March 31, 2008, at which point a final (but still free) version of the client will presumably be available.
